Techneverends - Two months ago, Mark Zuckerberg made a post on Facebook and Instagram containing a digital screenshot of his avatar in front of the Eiffel Tower. The post announced that Horizon Worlds, Meta's Oculus online video game, is now releasing in France and Spain.

But unfortunately, the post received a lot of memes that mocked the appearance of Zuck's avatar graphic. One said the avatar looked like a game character on Playstation 1.

Not long after, Zuck responded to memes from netizens. Zuck slapped them back by making a new post and noting that Meta was improving the Avatar Horizon Worlds display graph. He showed off several screenshots of a much more detailed and lifelike version of himself.

Zuck said it would provide a significant update to the game Horizon and the appearance of avatar graphics in it. He promised to share more info at the upcoming Connect event. However, there is no certainty when the event will be held next year, but if you look at last year, the Connect event was held in October.

In his latest post in August, Zuck said that he realized the screenshot he shared earlier was still very basic due to the needs of Horizon Worlds launch event. He added that the Horizon development team was able to do even more with the headset.

Zuck's actions can be rash because he displays a product still in the development stage, but what can you do if the deadline is tight? However, this turned out to be a moment for Zuck to introduce his products, or is this a Meta marketing strategy? Wow.

In the world of Metaverse, it's not only Meta that promises beautiful graphics. Last month, Roblox also announced that they were improving their game's graphics, which are currently boxy and low-res. Cited from The Verge, Roblox Product Lead Josh Anon said that Roblox has the ultimate goal of developing games with graphics like the real world.
